We always want people to get the most out of their money, whether that's reducing their energy bills,
finding cheap car insurance or simply stretching that weekly shop a little further. But now we want you to
get creative with your spending for a worthy cause.
We're hosting a jailbreak challenge in London. The rules are simple:
You’ll be given 24 hours to get as far away from the starting point as possible and back again within the
time limit. You can hop on a train, buy a new bike or simply run like hell – whatever it takes to win!
However, we also want you to return to the starting point before the 24-hour time limit is over. If you get
back in time and cover the most ground, you'll win a whopping £1,000 donation for your chosen charity and
£250 in Love2Shop vouchers, redeemable in over 20,000 UK stores including Argos, Waterstones, Pizza Express,
and many more. 2nd and 3rd place will receive £150 and £100 in Love2Shop vouchers respectively.
What to expect
The event will open at Victoria Station, Victoria, London, SW1E 5ND
at 9am. You'll be greeted
by the giffgaff gameplan team and prepped for your task. The challenge will officially begin at 10am and you'll
have 24 hours to make your boomerang trip, ending at Park Plaza, 239 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, SW1V
at 10am the following day, Sunday 24th June.
We want to test your money-saving skills, so we aren’t helping you out with a budget for your travel. However,
many previous jailbreakers have been able to haggle their way to bargains when searching for plane or train
tickets. Don’t be afraid to get creative and you won’t have to break the bank to win the challenge. Who knows
where you’ll end up?
