Save on Easter Eggs

With Easter just around the corner the temptation is to splash out on Easter eggs for the kids and perhaps yourselves. However to spend less money and for the budget conscious, do shop around and possibly wait until Thursday or even Good Friday (or Saturday if you don't dish the treats out till Sunday)  to buy your treats as invariably prices will drop.

Normally I find a price point of £1 per 100g of chocolate is a good compromise between cost and quality. Having said that the quality around this price point can vary considerably so do choose carefully or go for known brands.

Of course those money saving stalwarts Lidl and Aldi can be relied upon to offer quality chocolate and other Easter treats at great prices:

I wish you a great, if not chocolately, Easter and good luck in saving some money as well.
