Save Money With Refillable Wine Bottles

If you like to drink wine but don't always want to buy £5-£10 Supermarket wine that tastes pretty average (or below average in my opinion). An alternative is a Refillable Wine service. In London, Borough Wines offer this service for many years, and now other wine shops offer this service as well.

Here's how it works (at Borough Wines):
1) You buy their refillable bottle for £2.50
2) You choose between filling your bottle with a red, rose, or white wine for £5.50Note: wines are stored in cask which you self-serve
3) You come back the next time and pay £5.50 for a refill (you already own the bottle)

Borough Wines is located in London's Borough Market and various locations. You can find their locations here:

My experience with Refillable Wines:
1) Quality is good but not outstanding - these wines would retail for £10 or slightly less at a wine shop but they are far better than your £5-£10 supermarket wine
2) Refillable wine is environmentally friendly - no more empty bottles and lower shipping costs by shipping the wine in bulk containers (casks) not individual bottles
3) You always have a choice of red, rose, white wines
4) Wines are rotated every 4-6 weeks so you always have new wines to try out
