These days it seems there is an app everything and anything, so I thought I’d explore what money saving apps there are out there.   A quick search on the Apple Store will bring a few results that show money saving apps, these are split into different sections:

Budgeting apps & spending tracking apps 

Spending tracker – free app with 32 positive reviews, so people are using it.  
It is a simple app where you can just add your income and expenses and categorise them in different areas and see how you’re doing with managing your money. They have good summary views as well as reports to display where your money goes. It also supports Wallet.  

Pocket Expense Personal Finance – free app with 70 reviews, majority of these reviews are positive.  
This money saving app has three main areas, tracking your accounts, budget management.  

OnTrees Personbal Finance – free app with 172 reviews mostly positive.   As the other two money saving apps above, this one allows you to see your accounts in one place as well as track your money expenditure and keep up with your transactions.  It is part of Moneysupermarket family and it also links with Apple iWatch.
