Sure thing. Enjoy using your goodybag allowance, data, minutes and texts like at home. Members on the Always On and £20 goodybags will be able to use up to 20 GB of their 80 GB allowance while roaming in the EU and selected destinations. More information on roaming

You’ll need to add credit to continue using data, minutes and texts. We’ll send you a little text when you arrive at your destination and let you know the roaming prices. More information on roaming

Sure thing. We’d love to bring your old number to giffgaff. After you’ve activated your SIM, we’ll give you a link to transfer your old number. You’ll just need your PAC code from your previous network.

With Always On data, you get 80 GB of data at full 4G speed. After 80 GB of data used you'll experience a reduced data speed of 384kbps from 8am to Midnight. You may notice that activities which require high amounts of data, like HD video streaming, will be slower.

Roaming in the EU and selected destinations with Always On means that after you’ve used the full 20 GB of data, you’ll be charged 0.36p/MB (that's less than a penny per megabyte) while roaming.

Used up all your data or minutes? Don't worry. The great thing about giffgaff is that we give you the option to start using your next plan. Just choose to start your plan early.

Note: Any remaining allowance from your existing plan will not be carried over. i.e., if you have 100 minutes left then this will not be carried over to your next plan.

If you’ve opted not to purchase your next plan early and you’ve used up your allowance before your next plan starts you’ll be charged at 5p/MB for data and standard calls and text rates will apply.

If you've set your plan to recur, then sit back and relax. Your next plan will automatically kick in.

If you don't have your plan set to recur, don't worry. Go to My payment details to update your account settings. Add a credit/debit card or PayPal to your account to enable recurring payments.

If you haven't got your next plan queued or set to recur standard pay as you go rates will apply. You’ll need to add credit to continue using giffgaff.

BlackBerry Internet service is needed for 3G BlackBerry 7 devices (or earlier).

If you upgrade your phone to a 4G-ready device, then you'll need to switch off your BlackBerry service in My profile settings to access 4G data speed. For more information about BlackBerry Internet service click here.

Which SIM size do I need?

There are three SIM sizes to choose from. Standard SIM, micro SIM and nano SIM. Most newer phones take a nano SIM, while the majority of older phones take a micro SIM. Some non-smartphones do still take a standard SIM though. Our brilliantly-designed triple SIM means that it will fit any phone, whether you need a standard, micro or nano SIM.

Can I get a 4G SIM only plan?

Absolutely. Our new goodybags include 4G data as standard. Get in. Choose the goodybag with the best mix of UK data, minutes and texts to suit you. A 4G ready phone and coverage is required to access 4G data speeds
