What is a credit report?

A credit report provides detailed information about your credit score and credit history.

Your credit history lists your lending past, regular payments, and your ability to manage your previous finances. This information is then used to calculate your credit score, with points allocated to each part of your history. The higher your score, the more likely you are to be approved for a loan or credit card.

Credit lenders carry out these checks when you enquire about a product, but with giffgaff gameplan you can access your free credit report whenever you need it. It takes just a few minutes to apply for your report.

Our free credit reports are soft checks into your finances. That means if gives you a quick snapshot of how things look, and it won’t affect your credit score or history.
